Abstract

This article analyzes the socio-historical foundations of the formation and development of environmental culture among high school students using physical education classes as an example. The study reveals the close relationship between environmental education and physical culture, their role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as the influence of national and universal values on the development of environmental culture. The results of the analysis substantiate that physical education classes serve as an effective pedagogical tool for developing environmental awareness, responsibility, and culture among high school students.
