Abstract
The article examines instrumental methods for analyzing the techniques of academic rowers using a concept 2 ergometer. The possibility of determining the overall results and individual parameters of the rowing process using two main methods of motion fixation has been shown. These methods were applied under ergometric conditions, their technological advantages and limitations were analyzed, and their role in improving rowing techniques was substantiated. Within the framework of the study, a video analysis method was developed based on electronic means such as video cameras and personal computers, as well as VideoPoint, EditStudio, and Excel software. Using this method, it is possible to determine the two-dimensional spatial parameters of the rower's body points and velocity parameters. As a result, it has been scientifically substantiated that the proposed approach serves to deeply analyze the technical actions of athletes and their effective improvement.
