Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of optimizing attacking and defensive actions in kurash. In modern wrestling, achieving high sports performance largely depends on the technical and tactical preparedness of athletes. Therefore, improving and optimizing attacking and defensive techniques during the training process is considered one of the key tasks in the preparation of kurash athletes. The study examines various training methods aimed at developing the technical and tactical skills of wrestlers. These methods include specialized technical exercises, partner training drills, situational tasks, and training bouts conducted under conditions close to real competitions. Special attention is given to improving the execution of attacking techniques, selecting the most appropriate moment for performing an attack, and developing the ability to quickly transition from defensive actions to counterattacks. The article also highlights the importance of developing essential physical qualities such as strength, speed, agility, coordination, and reaction. These qualities play a significant role in increasing the effectiveness of both attacking and defensive actions during wrestling matches. In addition, particular emphasis is placed on improving athletes’ ability to analyze the opponent’s movements, anticipate their actions, and make quick and effective tactical decisions during a bout. The results of the research indicate that the optimization of attacking and defensive actions within the training process significantly improves the technical and tactical preparedness of kurash athletes. It also enhances their competitive performance and helps athletes achieve higher results in competitions. The findings of this study may be useful for coaches and specialists in wrestling when organizing and improving the training process.
